Within the English language section led by teacher Natasha Veselinović, students from classes IV/2 and IV/4 participated in the international eTwinning project, the European Day of Languages 2023 Postcard Exchange, which took place during the first semester. This project brought together students from various countries, including Serbia, Italy, Poland, Romania, France, Turkey, Slovakia, and Greece. The students corresponded in English and also engaged in video communication through a video call application. They discussed various topics, talked about Serbia, Belgrade, their interests, food, and more. Additionally, they learned a few words in Serbian, and in return, their peers learned some words in French.
The project aimed to encourage students to improve their communication skills in English, learn more about other cultures, establish connections and friendships with peers from different countries, and motivate themselves to learn foreign languages.
