As part of the "Parent, Student, Collaborator – Lecturer" project and within the framework of professional orientation for eighth-grade students, on Thursday, February 22, 2024, students from classes VIII/1 and VIII/3 attended a lecture on medical professions. The lecture was delivered by Katarina Aničić, a student at the High Medical School and a former student of our school. She presented various medical professions to the students in an interesting manner, including medical nurse-technician, pediatric nurse, laboratory technician, sanitary-ecological technician, and physiotherapist. The students were also informed about studies at the High Medical School. They attentively followed the lecture with great interest, and those who had already chosen a health-related career path had additional questions for the lecturer. It was agreed that the student-lecturer would come back to our school to provide further information to all eighth-grade students who are considering enrolling in medical and pharmaceutical schools.
The project coordinator is geography teacher Snežana Trnavac, and the organization of the lecture was assisted by the class prefect of VIII /3, Aleksandra Đorđević.
