How to Become Strong and Healthy - Our Healthy Snack
On Friday, May 24, 2024, a workshop titled "Superheroes of Healthy Eating - Our Healthy Snack" was held for class III/2. Katerina Tomasović, a nutritionist and the mother of student Stefan Tomasović, presented and explained to the children in an engaging manner what nutrition is, why it's important to think about the types of food we eat, and how to combine food items.
"Why is it important to eat a 'rainbow' every day?" was a question that initially puzzled the students but ultimately sparked enthusiasm and excitement. Plates full of fruits and vegetables in all the colors of the rainbow stimulated the children's imagination and creativity, showing them how to easily and quickly make their own healthy snacks. Each color has its own story - vitamins, fibers, minerals...
The students were divided into four groups, and each group made its own healthy snack. The children actively participated in preparing their healthy meals. They all ate fresh broccoli, radishes, carrots, lemons, oranges, blueberries, hazelnuts, almonds... By the end of the workshop, all the plates were empty, and the children were strong, happy, and full of impressions.
Parents Milana Dević and Miloš Vranić, as well as future first-graders, joined the workshop. The school principal, Katarina Stjepanović, also visited us during the workshop.
