As part of the "Parent as Collaborator - Lecturer" project and within the framework of career orientation for seventh and eighth-grade students, on Friday, April 12, 2024, students of classes VII/2 and VIII/2 were introduced to the occupation of carpentry. The presentation was conducted by carpenter Milivoje Đurić, the father of Anđelija Đurić, a student of class VII/2.
Through the workshop, students received valuable information about this occupation, education pathways, and employment opportunities. Eighth-grade students, in particular, showed great interest and actively participated in hands-on activities using carpentry tools. The workshop was successfully executed, and students concluded with satisfaction that every piece of information about various professions presented could be helpful when choosing a future career.
The project coordinator was geography teacher Snežana Trnavac, and the organization of the lecture was aided by the class prefect of VII/2 - Danijela Rajak.
