A parent meeting for future "Desanka's" first graders was held.

On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, in our school, the traditional parent meeting for future first graders was held. The school director, Katarina Stjepanović, greeted everyone present and welcomed the parents of future first graders. Following her, there was a presentation about the school itself held by the school psychologist Ivana Gligorić. Then, the school psychologist and assistant director, Branka Mitrović Josipović, acquainted the parents with the entire procedure related to testing and enrolling students in the school. After that, the current fourth-grade teachers - Danica Petrović Stanisavljević, Marija Todorović, Jelena Čedić, and Bojana Zečević, introduced themselves and shared their experiences in working with first-grade students, offering advice on how best to prepare their children for this new chapter in their lives. Finally, the teachers Ivana Živanović and Jelena Đorđević briefly presented the extended stay program and the benefits it offers.

The meeting proceeded in a pleasant atmosphere. Parents listened attentively to each segment of the meeting and left clearly satisfied. Considering that the school is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, upon departure, each parent received a symbolic gift for remembrance. The school representatives themselves were pleased with the meeting and ended the day filled with positive energy, as evidenced by the accompanying photograph.
