The last week of the first semester in the 3/1 and 3/3 classrooms was dedicated to project-based learning, with the theme being Christmas and New Year holidays. Under the guidance of their teacher, Aleksandra Đorđević, students expanded their vocabulary in this area during English language classes. They enjoyed poems and various games related to this theme. Emphasis was also placed on cultural differences in customs related to celebrating these holidays, and experiences regarding how students celebrate these two holidays within their families were exchanged.
Moreover, students had the opportunity to express their creativity by creating some of the symbols associated with Christmas and New Year and presenting their work to the class, which they particularly enjoyed. The atmosphere in the classes was cheerful and served as a delightful introduction to the upcoming holidays.
