In geography classes, under the guidance of teacher Ivana Radičević, eighth-grade students have engaged in project-based learning titled "Tourist Guide through Serbia." They have familiarized themselves with various regions of our country, customs, food, music, and dance.
Throughout the project, students explained to each other through their presentations how to reach a specific destination, what kind of entertainment to expect in a given place, where/how to find accommodation, and more. They had the opportunity to see Heavenly Chairs, the burning of lilac, the wedding tradition "Mother-in-law in the attic," caves, waterfalls, heard about the first Serbian vampire, and much more. They also organized a tasting of Serbian specialties from different regions of our country, saw traditional costumes and old utensils.
In the end, they tested their acquired knowledge through quizzes and associations.
