The HIPPO Competition Finals in Venice

The European finals of the "HIPPO" English language competition were held on May 22, 2024, in Venice. Our school was represented by Damjan Novaković, a student from class II/3, accompanied by his teacher Jelena Đorđević. Damjan returned home with a medal, having secured the 10th place. Our school received a certificate as a participant in this international competition, and the students who achieved success in the previous rounds also received certificates according to their accomplishments, in line with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Let us remind you that this year, the competition saw the participation of 89,000 candidates from around the world from the beginning, and the selection process was very rigorous. Therefore, we are proud of Damjan's achievement, as he, at only 9 years old, represented not only his school but also his country with dignity.

Aware of the significance of Damjan's feat, the students of class II/3, together with their teacher Dostana Pavlović and teacher Jelena Đorđević, organized a surprise party for Damjan. On this occasion, they also held an English language quiz.
